Hair Care for Women

Beautiful Hair plays a very significant role in enhancing the beauty of a woman. To possess long stunning locks with that extra bounce, glow and shine is the dream of every woman, and it is obvious that beautiful locks will not come naturally. You need to put in that extra effort and care for the healthy growth of your hair. This article examines the few very basic yet essential tips of hair care for women:

•Use some non-sticky hair oil like coconut oil or almond oil to massage your scalp. The intent is to let the oil aka the hair nourishment perforate deep into the scalp and nurture the hair roots, which in turn will keep your hair soft, strong and controllable.

•Lemon juice is highly recommended by most of the hair experts. Apply the juice of a whole lemon for it to lend that shiny and bouncy look. Rinse it off with fresh water.

•Massaging the scalp stimulates hair growth. It enhances the blood flow to the scalp and the hair follicle thus ensuring healthy hair. Cashew nuts too, help in enhancing the growth of hair.

•Remove all pins and clips and other hair accessories before going to bed. Comb your hair well several times a day to ensure steady flow of blood.

•Go in for regular trims to remove the split ends and help your hair grow smoother and faster. You should also go for trimming once every eight weeks.

•Intake fresh fruits, green leafy vegetables and drink plenty of water to flush off toxins.

•Avoid shampoos containing sodium laurel sulphate, or sodium laureth sulfate or strong chemicals. When selecting shampoos, conditioners or any other kind of hair care product, be sure to know your hair type and make the purchases accordingly.

•Avoid dyes and hair color. Best is, to use mehandi (henna). Henna is a conditioner and coloring agent in itself.

•Never bathe your hair in hot water, as it causes severe damages. If not cold, try to use lukewarm water to wash your hair.

• Use a good quality hairbrush. Inferior quality brushes and combs often scratches the scalp and damage the hair shaft. Frequent combing is good, but never overdo, as it stimulates sebum production, which encourage oily hair; breakages and split ends.
